Discovery Graduation

We have had an incredible year at Discovery (aka camp)! They explored farm life, music, shadows, airplanes and plants life through reading, writing, visitors, field trips, science experiments, songs and creative projects galore.  We could not have asked for a more positive learning experience for our little sponges.

Preschool Playdate & Picnic

Good Hope Preschool finished up last Thursday.  The kids and parents were already missing each other, so a few of us parents organized a playdate and picnic at a local park.  Such a fun time.  I hope we can squeeze in a few more of these playdates this summer.

Uncle Matt Visits

Uncle Matt occasionally has layovers at RDU. And even more infrequently, the layover is long enough to squeeze in a visit.  Today was one of those days and we squeezed in a long walk, Starbucks and a picnic at RDU's observation deck!
We love you Uncle Matt!

Thanks Simmons Family

We had the most wonderful, relaxing Memorial Day cook-out at the Simmons house.

Thanks E!

Erin and Addison were visiting NC from CO this weekend.  Thanks to Erin's foresight and planning, we were able to get together for a little play date at the Geer house in Greensboro. Thanks Amy for opening up your gorgeous home to all of us. Our kids had a blast and were exhausted when we got home! It was so great seeing everyone and having our kiddos play together.

Third Time is a Charm

I just think it is a good day when we have had a couple of hours to play at a farm.  It is even better when we get to share it with Grandma Mary (against her will) and Papa D (after driving 428 miles), bring home fresh strawberries and have a picnic - GOOD TIMES! :)
 Duck Races
Anna Said, " Let's Roll Daddy!"
 Cow Train
Tractors, Slides, Swings, Goats and More...
Everyone had fun - I promise!
