SNOW DAY #2

The wait was worth it...we got the most perfect snow day ever!  We had perfect powder in the morning, turning to icy packed snow mid-morning for sledding, and sticky snow for the afternoon snowman!

Table Talk

We just recently got this set of questions as a gift.  We have some of the best conversations this week about prejudice, favorite first memory, advice for your parents, favorite family experience, most cozy spot in the house, a smell that gives your memories, a skill you wish you had, most embarrassing moment and most thoughtful thing someone did for you in the past week to mention a few.  Sometimes we only get to one question because we have such interesting conversations around them, sometimes we get to two or three. There are tons of these sorts of sets out there, but this one really meets our age range nicely and the kids are eager to get to the questions each night.

Tennis

Winter Season in full-swing.  Max rocked his first match in the 14/18 division!

SNOW

We got our first snow this year.  The kids were in school when the blustering winds started blowing snow and the whole event was over before they got home.  Fortunately, Alex and his classmates got to experience the snow on their faces and BOY-OH-BOY were the other kids jealous!

Brown Bag Ministry

In preparation for our cold weather coming, Brown Bag Ministry asked for extra help preparing sandwiches and snack bags!  We were thrilled to help make 600+ sandwiches and 300+ snack bags for distribution.

Ice Skating with Friends

We went ice skating on the Hurricane Hockey Team's practice rink!  We brought along Mila and Aren and had a blast.
