Thank you Auntie Suzie for our new dinosaur friends. They knew exactly who they were the minute they opened the box! Max had Tiny flying around everywhere. Kate had Morris roaring all over the place!

Myrtle Beach 2011
Duke Radiology hosts a review course each summer in Myrtle Beach. In return for doing a lecture employees get to bring their family for a long weekend of fun! We had the best time with the kids last year and this year was no different. We took advantage of all the resort amenities - beach, tennis courts, dance party, walkways and water park! In addition we visited Barefoot Landing and the kids LOVED all the wildlife.

Going on a vacation with kids requires a lot of planning, lists, and luggage (all of which I love!). Separating ourselves from our daily routines and chores really helps me step back and appreciate my wonderful family. Peter is such a thoughtful husband and patient father. Kate is full of spirit, energy, and imagination which just makes me smile (and laugh) all day long. Max works so hard on every task he starts (and restarts) and has the sweetest little soul which just melts my heart. We are so lucky and I am so thankful for all of our time together!

Staying Cool with Gamma Mary
This week has been exceptionally hot. We front-loaded our week with outdoor activities and kept cool the latter part of the week by playing in the pool, going to storytime at the library, eating ice cream and popsicles, baking, dabbling in some arts & crafts, and enjoying everything the mall had to offer - play zone, lunch, smoothies, and shopping. :)

Firetruck Man
Max has become obsessed with all things firetruck - firetruck house, firetruck helmet, firetruck hoses, firetruck ladder, and firetruck men! So Gamma Mary could not resist this fire chief outfit. Max could not wait to get on all his gear and he kept telling us, "I firetruck man!" He loaded up the RED cozy coupe with his gear and proudly drove around the house in his 'firetruck'.
Max even helped Kate get all geared up...

Spoiled by Gamma Mary
'Gamma Mary' has been spoiling all of us this week. A few highlights this weekend included the park, pool, Winnie the Pooh Movie, pizza at Bocci, and feeding the geese at the pond!
