Who has a tooth?

KATE!!! We check everyday to see if anyone has little buds and sure enough Wednesday afternoon, Kate showed me a little, tiny white tooth bud on her lower gum. She does not seem to be bothered by it at all. I have been trying to capture a picture but really it is just so tiny that I keep getting all tongue.

The newest addition to our repertoire of toys: the exersaucer! Kate loves it,
Max is a little overwhelmed by it all.

A little playtime in the afternoon sun.
This playmat is an all time favorite.

Back to the Bumbo

Kate and Max are so much fun! Kate can not be left alone because she will roll away. It does not matter front-to-back or back-to-front. She is always on the go until she runs into a wall, Max, a couch, or some other speed bump. Max definitely has his front-to-back roll down. He will do it endlessly if we help him. Both still enjoy the Bumbo!

Kate and Max's Baptism

The baptism weekend was the most magnificent gathering. We enjoyed perfect weather at Fearrington Village. The ceremony was in the Pecan Gardens followed by brunch at the Old Granary. Both families were able to come together to welcome Kate and Max into the church and celebrate their wonderful little lives. What made this weekend even more special was that my Aunt Sue and Grandmother baptized Kate and Max. I was fighting back the tears all weekend. We feel very blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful families
who love and adore Kate and Max!
Our best friend and photographer caught it all with well over 450 pictures. The pictures below capture a few of the key moments of the day!

So Cute and So Active

Kate and Max are both very active. It is a lot of fun playing with them on the floor, in the bumbo, under the playgym, in the swing or stroller. Rolling, scooting, reaching, grabbing, and chewing are a normal part of playtime. They are both very vocal and seem to be mimicking some of our sounds/words. Max tries to say "uh, oh", "hi", and "love you". Kate tries "mama" when she wants to get out of her swing. They both giggle a lot and the funniest things crack them up. They seem to be the best of buddies and do not like to be too far from one another.

I think he loves her...
