Durham Bulls Field Trip

 Anna went with her class to a Durham Bulls Baseball game!

Powell Drive Park

Alex had his first field trip of elementary school. His class learned about habitats. They got to discover the life in a pond, discuss the food chain, build habitats, learned about the obstacles that animals face in their habitat and had time for a picnic and playground fun!

Snorin' Sarafi

Peter and Kate were invited to join some friends at the NC Zoo in Ashboro for a camping event.  They had a blast seeing the animals at night, playing games, interacting with some animals, and of course camping out!  Such a super fun Daddy-Daughter event!

Baseball

We can already see the progress this season.  The kids know where the plays are going to be, can anticipate next steps, are making their own adjustments to footing and how they hold their bats, are baseball ready without reminders, are cheering each other on and seem to be really having a lot of fun!

Adam is 2

We celebrated Adam's 2nd Birthday this weekend.  We had the PERFECT weather for an afternoon at the park.  The kids ran around and played hide-n-seek, we decorated cookies, at cake and opened a TON of cars, trucks, and things that GO!

Buckwheat Farm

 Thanks to Ms. Shannon, we found out that strawberry season has opened!  The kids and I could not wait to get out to the farm and see what the crops looked like.  We were blown away with how HUGE the berries are this year and SUPER juicy delicious!
