Our neighbor encouraged me to take the kids to Morehead Planetarium for one of their kids' shows. Since Kate and Max have been a little interested in space I thought it might be a good time. We saw One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure narrated by Big Bird and Elmo which I thought would capture everyones interests...and it did! The kids loved it and have been talking about finding constellations, the big dipper, the moon, sun and Earth all day.
Since we finished up around lunchtime, we took a picnic to the Coker Arboretum, where Peter and I got engaged! It was a fun time walking around, collecting sticks and rocks and climbing trees.
