Lego Build

A week ago, during story time at the library, Max noticed some lego structures and a sign that he insisted I read to him. We learned that the library does a "Lego Build" each Wednesday from 3-4pm. I was not sure what this looked like but Max was excited, fit the criteria to participate and it was free so I thought it was worth a try.  It was such a simple idea and worked so well...piles of legos scattered throughout a room, label station, picture station, tons of kids, teen volunteers and a lot of imagination!

Kate and Max got right to work and were very proud of their creations.  Kate created a "Flying Table and Chairs".  Max created a "Jet Rocket Car Airplane".  He was more than happy to help Anna finish up her masterpiece too.
Anna found a Duplo pile and had the best time building towers.  In the end, Kate and Max were waiting on Anna to finish her creation (not what I anticipated) - "Rainbow Tower".
