The kids and I heard that if we brought baked goods (or not) to the new fire station a half mile from our house we could get a tour and ask questions! So the kids and I baked chocolate chip cookie bars and walked up to the fire station, with cookies in hand and questions on our mind... The guys were so amazing to the kids. We got a full tour of the firehouse, met all the fire fighters on duty, crawled all over the firetruck and asked a million(at least) questions!

Kate's Questions:
1. What is your favorite thing to eat at the fire station?
2. Do you like to fish? (???)
3. I have never seen a fireman go down the pole...could you show me? (it worked)

WOW! what a fun idea for everyone. You took some great pics. The first with the boots looks so professional. Kudos! the kids will have a great story to share when they start back to pre-school!
