Uncle Matt is an incredible uncle who appears from the skies above (literally: he is a pilot) to play really hard with all the kiddos and then vanishes...puff! Uncle Matt is a super hero!

Pirate Adventure

We took Kate and Max on a Pirate Adventure in Murrell's Inlet. I can not say enough good things about this adventure.  It started with the kids get face painted and into "costume" then they joined the crew for an adventure that included battling Pirate Pete with water cannons, heaving up a sunken treasure, drinking Pirate Pete Grog, having a pirate dance party and so much more... The entire interactive experience was absolutely incredible and well executed.

Mimi & Pop Pop of Maine (and Greensboro)

Mimi was either on the porch reading stories to the kids or in the water playing with the kids.

Pop - Pop seem to always have a Grankid in his arm whether he was inside or out.

So Much Love...our kids are so lucky!

22 Months

Anna is such a little doll full of enthusiasm and a definite opinion about everything.

She has no fear.  She flies down slides, climbs ladders and rock walls, jumps into the pool, holds animals, feeds horses, walks up and down stairs, dances on top of tables and sits on "big girl chairs" at the table.

Anna plays with all of the kids toys because that is what interests her.  She pulls out puzzles and tries to work on them at the big table. She stacks legos and brings them to Max.  She is very interested in all of Kate's bunny creations. She loves balloons like a baby.

She understands so much and is putting together so many thoughts. Some of our favorite new phrases (all with such enthusiasm):
Thank you Mommio!
I want Kate's shoe-shoe.
Daddio Ooh-Ooh (Monkey).
Icky, Icky Day!
Hooray!
Yay-Yay!
Me! Me! Me!
Mine!
I did it.
Eyes, ears, nose, teeth
Where's KK(Kate's nickname from Anna)?
 Fee-You (phew!)

The 3P's

The pool, preschool and a park in one day! Every time I told Anna we were going somewhere she said, "Hooray!"
