Big Boy Bed

Timeline
April 30 - Max falls out of bed

May 1 - Order beds and mattresses

July 22 - Kate climbs out of bed gracefully

July 28 - Kids sleep on crib mattress on the floor as a trial (neighbors' idea)

July 29 - Kate requests to return to her crib and has been there ever since

August 6 - Max, Kate, and Daddy build Max's bed (move crib to nursery!).
Max sleeps in his big boy bed!!!

I had a small meltdown about my little boy moving to a big boy bed. :) I checked on him at midnight and 3am. He moved himself to the floor between midnight and 3am. At 6:30am I hear Kate telling Max "back in bed Max, get back in bed!" I go in at 7am and Max is in his big boy bed and proudly proclaims, "I stay in bed Mommy!"

To Date
Max has been in his big boy bed ever since! Kate still wants to be in her crib but likes to play with Max on his bed -today she brought him pizza after his nap.
