The kids came up with this grande idea to camp in the backyard! So we waited for the perfect weather and the kids got so into it. After our lessons, daily walk an lunch, we pitched the tent in record time and the kids got to work on filling it with all their feathers. The rest of the day was taken up playing in and around the tent together. Then we grille out hamburgers and made our own s'mores. The kids stayed up late, reading and playing games. Everyone made it through the night. They filled up on biscuits and sausages an spent the rest of the morning playing outside. We topped off the adventure with a bike ride, creek adventure an picnic. Seriously, I could not have asked for a more perfect camping experience.
