Remote Learning - Week 6

The second week of Remote Learning was even more successful than the first!  I think the kids and I felt a little more confident going into it and had clear expectations of what we needed to do.

The kids have the autonomy to follow the schedule as the teachers lay it out at the beginning of the week or do the lessons in the order they choose knowing the due dates are the same. They all chose to work on things in their own order and they loved having that choice.

Alex's schedule differs slightly in that he has a regular ZOOM class meeting daily at 9am and two 1-on-1 with his teachers on Tuesday and Thursday.  His assignments are not outlined for the week, but rather posted on Seesaw as the week progresses and I supplement with various activities sprinkled throughout.

I love that the week is made up of online work, paper & pencil, adventures and creative activities sprinkled throughout - the diversity keeps them very engaged and meets the needs of all the different learning styles in our house!
