We had the most wonderful experience on the New Hope Valley Railway train this weekend. Mimi, Pop Pop and the Simmons family joined us for an amazing hour and a half in open-air passenger cars pulled by a diesel engine one way and then they switched to the steam engine on the way back. The kids had a blast meeting Santa, having a picnic, singing songs and reading stories with Mimi along the route. So much fun, I hope it is still running next year, because I think we would all agree it was such a fun experience.
