Max and Kate went to their first summer camp. It was a good transition to "camp" since it was at the place they had been going to gymnastics once a week all year, led by the same teacher (plus a few new ones), and followed the same routine. The camp was from 9-12pm daily for one week. The theme was Princesses and Pirates. In addition to gymnastics activities, they had crafts, stories, sing-a-long, dress-up, and snack that all incorporated the theme. Max and I worked on a pirate costume all week which included a hat, striped shirt (stripes made with tape), eye patch, and sword. Kate was thrilled to pull out all her princess (and fairy) stuff - wings, wands, and tulle galore!
