We kicked off the month of December with an introduction to our Elf on a Shelf. The kids met "her" at breakfast but it took all day to decide on the name Alphie. We read the story four times and they asked a lot of questions. They do not understand the magic concept but they want to give Alphie milk and cookies to take to the "nice pole". Both talk directly to Alphie and tell her about their day, how they share, and how they are a good big sister/bother. This is such a fun new tradition - I love it!

Oh I love it!!!! That is awesome and you will have some great stories to tell them when they get older. Have they introduced Alphie to Anna yet? Just too, precious! Are you telling them the story of Christmas and the baby Jesus?

Very cute! We have debated about getting an elf on the shelf, but just haven't yet. LOTS of friends have and love them though!!
