We went to the Guilford Courthouse Reenactment in Greensboro this weekend. The reenactment was impressive! The kids especially liked going into the camp afterwards and speaking with the soldiers and their wives. The girls learned about yarn dying and keeping a camp fire going. The boys spent most of their time learning about the canons!

That is fabulous and you can absorb so much. Theses are your wonder years. Go for it! The history is a reality and some of the arts are created with pride today!
