My sisters are a Godsend! While we brought Alexander into this world, Lana and Liz took care of everything at the house. They worked so hard to learn all of Anna's diabetes management and kept the kids moving in all directions. Some of the highlights included going to the last Lego Build at our local library, playing at nearby parks, having a picnic, going to Marbles Museum in Raleigh, visiting us in the hospital, playing outside, doing crafts and going to the movies. There are no words to express our gratitude for taking such good care of our kids at home so Peter and I could embrace the time with Alexander at the hospital - truly the most wonderful gift they could have given us.
