The kids and I took a little trip to downtown Raleigh to check out the NC Museum of Natural Sciences thanks to a recommendation from a Dad of three girls at our pool. The kids really enjoyed checking everything out and did not once complain about being tired! I think the living creatures were especially interesting to all three in addition to the dinosaurs, the discovery classroom, the submersible experience and their first 3D movie - The Last Reef. Anna LOVED the fish, waving HI and BYE to ALL of them, she chased this poor little bird around forever, she talked and squealed through the entire 3D movie (to her credit it was all related to the movie) and pointed out every bird or moving creature she noticed. Max was our little leader and was desperate for a map but the place is going "green" so no paper maps. His favorite parts were the 3D movie and discovery classroom. Kate had a story for everything which included a mom, dad, and a family who was missing _____. I was pretty sure she was going to bring a dinosaur egg home; instead, she borrowed Max's hat and filled it with rocks (aka dinosaur eggs) to bring home.
