Kate has been sleeping with Max in his big boy bed for the past week due to some recent anxiety issues. For whatever adorable reason having Kate in his bed has made all the difference. So we decided that maybe Kate was more ready than she knew to have a big girl bed. Peter asked Kate if she wanted a big boy bed like Max and she said, "Daddy, I a girl, I want a big GIRL bed." This weekend, Peter and his Dad took apart the crib :( and put together Kate's bed. She was so excited and screamed when she saw her bed all made up and ready for her. We wondered if she was still going to sleep with Max... to our surprise Max moved himself (and all of his belongings) to Kate's bed!

We heard a thump around 6am but by the time Peter got to their room Kate was already climbing back into bed careful not to disturb Max.

That is so adorable! They are such buddies. Don't you love it? The pics are great and thank God for the patients of the builders to let the little ones get their hands into the mix.
