Surprise Visit

Uncle Matt and Uncle Brent decided to surprise me for Mother's Day! All of a sudden I heard the kids screaming "Uncle Matt, Uncle Matt!" I was looking for him on facetime and there he was on my doorstep - Ha! The next few hours was a whirlwind of fun with the Uncles - flying contraptions, building projects, a walk and popsicles on the porch.  

I FEEL LOVED

I feel SO LOVED!!!  I could not have asked for a better Mother's Day Weekend. It started with muffins and ended with a Mother's Day Massage. There were cards, pictures, date nights, me time, family time, a picnic and a surprise visit from Uncle Matt & Uncle Brent in between! OH.MY.GOODNESS, what a wonderful weekend! I love my family and my family loves me!

Muffins For Mom

Kate & Max invited me to school to kick off Mother's Day WEEKEND!  The kids served me some sweet treats and showered me with gifts and read me a few stories.  Such a sweet way to start my weekend of surprises...

Anna's Spring Performance

Anna's preschool had one last performance before the year comes to a close. The kids have been working on their songs for a while and Anna was so excited to be on stage! 

 The kids decorated the room with oodles of beautiful art.  We got to take home a watercolor print Anna named "The Whole World".

As an extra special surprise, Daddy got to come too!

DC Adventures

The kids loved visiting DC. They were very impressed with all the buildings, statues, different colored taxis, museums, the zoo and seeing Daddy's school. Some of the highlights include:

Avon Walk 2015

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer was this past weekend in Washington DC.  It was an AMAZING event with over 2,000 walkers and more than $4.6 million raised for the cause.  I had so much fun doing this walk and met some amazing new friends! 

My sweet family came with me for the weekend. I felt so loved - the kids were so excited about the whole event, sent me special messages throughout the weekend and knocked me over with big hugs at the finish line! A special thanks goes out to my parents for meeting us in DC and providing so much help with the kids. My sweet husband made this entire event/process a reality for me with his unconditional support and encouragement.

9 Months Old

Our little man is 9 months old!  He is so much fun!  Loves to eat.  Loves to be around the kids and people in general. Loves to play! Moves across a room by rolling and scooting.  Pushes the walker around the kitchen. Jumps in the jump-a-roo.  Started finger foods. Got his first and second tooth this month.  He started waving. Babbles, giggles and squeals! Smiles at anyone and everyone.  Alexander is a source of sunshine and happiness each and every day. Love you "Bud" (Anna's nickname for Alex).
