Caught...

Kate has finally decided that walking is a lot of fun and can not stop practicing. She showed Aunty Lana and Uncle Charles on Skype and even let me video her a few times!

I love the hands in the air, such a little toddler!

Kate's First Hair Cut

Max, Kate, and I got our hair cut this weekend. Max, the big brother, showed Kate how it was done. Kate loved her time in the chair, the penguins on her cape, and the comb she got to keep!

Healthy Dirt

Grammie and Mommy Gimp took the kids to Holland's Strawberry Farm approximately one mile from our house! It was a beautiful day, the fields were unbelievable, and the kids had a blast. Max picked strawberries put them in one basket then transferred them to another basket and then back to the first basket (rinse and repeat)... Kate picked a few strawberries, put them in a basket, and then started waving to the other pickers and took off down the row... Both were covered in strawberry juice from head-to-toe!

Max hard at work!

Kissing Grammie

YAY for Swings

Thanks to our brilliant neighbor, who had the idea to put swing hooks on her garage door, the kids have their very own swings!

7 Years and Counting...

Seven years ago today I married my best friend, confidant, the love of my life.
We have so much fun together, push each other to meet new challenges, and share so many memories. Somewhere between med school, Baltimore, residency, road trips, date nights, over-sea adventures, beach weeks, and our incredible twins – Kate and Max we have learned that together we can accomplish anything. And yes the kids have consumed our world the last 14 months (not to mention the eight that they cooked) but we have somehow managed to go on our dates, enjoy picnics and movie night, and (thanks to some great grandparents) take our first vacation to the beach ALONE and it was spectacular!

I could never capture in words the intense love and gratitude I feel for Peter; but it does not matter because at the end of the day when I can hug and kiss my best buddy, the whole world is quiet and peaceful, I am filled with joy and happiness, and all I can do is smile!
I love you Peter!

Grandma Mary

I am pretty sure my mom has secured a place in heaven for herself this week. She has definitely been a godsend - cleaning, cooking, changing kids, running errands, doing laundry, and most importantly playing with her grandchildren!
