So the story goes like this... Mimi & Pop Pop started getting xmas tea together when their three boys were young and still required a babysitter. It was quite by accident. They spontaneously decided to get a sitter on xmas eve and then popped into the O'Henry Hotel for a bite to eat and discovered that Afternoon Tea was a thing. And so the tradition of Christmas Tea began...
To be on the safe side, we opted for Christmas Tea at a very well-known little place in Chapel Hill where all things go, the china is gorgeous, reservations are flexible, and the gluten free options are splendid - Mimi's House!
We had a wonderful afternoon sipping tea, Hot chocolate, champagne and nibbling on savory tea sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats. The memories will last forever!
