The kids departed at 6am for a field trip to Wilmington! They were so excited they accidentally set the alarm for 4hrs 45 min instead of 4:45am. They were a little surprised when I was not ready to go at 1am. :) They spent time at the ocean, fishing, picking shells and learning about the marine life. They toured the USS NC Battleship and spent some time with military personal asking a lot of questions! In between they had a fun picnic. It was an amazing day and the weather was PERFECT!

Well sounds like a great trip and one that hopefully they had some memories of visiting some places with their Johnson grandparents!
