Cary City Invitational

For the first time our kids decided to participate in the Cary City Invitational meet.  We had no idea what to expect but we heard it was big and fun!  There were 31 teams participating and over 1100 swimmers!  There was a field of tents outside the pool area where each team set up themed tents for their swimmers and families to rest/wait/eat/play between events.  It was a busy seven hours but the kids LOVED every minute (minus the 5am wake-up time).

Anna swam freestyle, back stroke and was a last-minute entry in the 7-8 freestyle relay.  Holy cow, she was revved up!  This was totally her scene and she just loved every minute.
Kate swam, free, back, breast and both relays. She loved being IN the water as much as she loved being with her friends.

Max thanked me the most for this AWESOME day!  He loved being a part of it all and being with his friends.

Alex was the SUPER TROOPER for the day.  Up and ready to go first and cheered on the kids and played with everyone!

You each looked great swimming.
I bet you were tired! And what a mom to get it all together!
