Spring Break in Paris - Day 1

Peter and I decided to take the kids to Paris to celebrate our 40th birthdays!
(Peter turned 40 in 2016 and I will be 40 in 2017)!
Our overnight direct flight to Paris was easy and uneventful.  The kids looked forward to dinner and a movie and a little sleep happened by 5/6 people!  Apparently, I was too excited to sleep. :)  Grandma Mary and Papa D graciously offered to join us for the week (on their way to Italy) to ensure everyone had a wonderful time!
We were greeted at our apartment called Beaujolais, only a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower.  We cleaned up and hit the streets of Paris for a little stroll. We headed for the Eiffel Tower and found a beautiful carousel.
Then we wandered up and down Rue Cler (open market area a block from our apartment) and collected everyone's favorites (bread, fruit, cheese, meats, desserts, wine) for a very memorable first Parisian dinner!

OMG!!! You really scored on the location of your apartment!
I don't think I would be able to sleep on the plain with all the anticipation!
Already everyone is having fun! The carousel looked great!!
What a fantastic Day One in Paris!!
Love and hugs,
