Election Day

The kids and I had an awesome experience at the polls today!  Max was excited about meeting a few of the candidates, reading a little literature, and asking questions like "Is there a historian to vote for?" and to the board of education candidate, "why do my friends have to go to a different school next year?".  Kate and Anna were chatting up the line and waving to all the familiar faces while Alex (on my back) was playing peek-a-boo with a grandmother in line.  All-in-all it was quick and easy and I was glad the kids could experience going to the polls on election day.
