TODAY is National Walk to School Day. A fun group of us moms/neighbors worked together to organize our elementary students and their families to walk to school today. The school staff, police, parents, and teachers all helped make this morning happen. A special thanks to Advocates for Health in Action who inspired us in so many ways and gave us TONS of freebies for the kids and signs for advertising the event! We had an awesome turn-out and the kids really got excited about all the little details - balloons, stickers, chalk walk messages, pencils, bookmarks, bag tags, the police officers and of course Millie the Panther!
