Alex lost his first tooth!

St. Patrick's Day

 We were visited by not one, but TWO little leprechauns named Lucky and Colin.  They left footprints all over the kids traps, notes, ate their treats, coins and other loot were scattered about and glitter in the toilet that will NOT flush!!! A very exciting way to start out morning!  We spent the rest of the morning learning about St. Patrick and how the holiday came to be.  We also studied rainbows. After a long bike ride to secretly deliver a birthday present and devoured lunch, we worked through different computer stations to incorporate some fun technology. We finished off the day with some outside time, working in the yard and playing games. Thank goodness for lovely weather!

Magic Monday

Since we are out of school for a couple of weeks, we decided to try "homeschooling". I do not think they will learn anything new but at least I feel like I am trying, maintaining structure and making the best of our current situation! 

Today - math, reading, writing, walks/bike ride, yard work, & leprechaun traps.

On the last day, after an awesome hike to Red Rocks and before an incredible brunch at The Botanist, I had the honor of capturing the beautiful Vaughan FAMILY on Princess Beach!!!
