Ethics Bowl

Max and seven Green Level High School students participated in the annual Ethics Bowl at UNC- Chapel Hill.  His team competed against 23 other teams from the state and came in second place! It was a fantastic day filled with incredible discussions and insightful thinking. 

NCL Tea

We received our golden ticket to the Willy Wonka Themed NCL Tea! Kate’s class was charged with awards and gifts for certain mothers. Kate earned the president’s Service Award for 100+ hours of service.

Loved Always

Abigail Brittany Johnson is remembered fondly by all who love and miss her dearly. All the nice and nephews decorated rocks full of color, hearts and rainbows to represent the love and joy she brought to all of our lives.

Max’s Buddies

Max has a great group of buddies up the street - Ishan, Jason, and Rithik! Today, one of the moms scooped them all up spontaneously to celebrate Ishan’s birthday - they went to Dave and Busters and a park to play basketball. Seriously, a perfect day for this group of guys!

Pleasant Park

Pleasant Park is the new park in town!!!  It has an epic playground, multiple field, green space, pickleball and basketball courts, and upcoming splash pad and trail.  

Scrap Exchange

A very special place exists in Durham that Mimi introduced the kids to - The Scrap Exchange! It is a building full of treasures! Mimi took advantage of our teacher workday and took Alex and Anna to the Scrap Exchange today. After four hours, they returned beaming with a box full of treasures and only spent $3.25! ❤
