Baseball

We had a gorgeous Saturday afternoon for baseball this weekend.  Alex had a great game and was thrilled to have his family and Grandparents cheering him on!

Brown Bag Ministry

Kate and I worked with friends at Brown Bag Ministry this weekend to prepare a hot meal for 200 people.   We worked with Chef Josephine to make baked chicken, steamed broccoli, roasted potatoes and berry cobbler.  It was an incredible experience!!!

JDRF One Walk: Anna's Army

Since 2017, our family has been participating in the JDRF One Walk.  Each year holds special memories of the ways we have come together for this cause. This year, we will be racking up miles the next two months in honor of Pop Pop, who did our first walk with us in 2017.

Eno

We thought we were doing our last trip to the Eno for the year but when we arrived it was closed because there were too many people!!!  So, we found another entrance and hiked to the Rock Quarry - very cool site!  We picnicked, played in the Eno, and got a very awesome hike - BONUS Adventure!

Backyard Camping

The kids spent two nights camping in the backyard.  We played lots of games, read, went on walks and bike rides, made a solar hotdog roaster, did yard work, ate breakfast in our PJs, and watched a movie outside. It was the perfect weekend!

Mimi's Yard

 We worked together one morning on Mimi's yard.  Mission accomplished!

NCL

Kate and I had a fun weekend working on a few philanthropy projects. We started the weekend at a local vineyard, arranging flowers for the Flower Shuttle and we worked on holiday stockings and cards needed for a big project NCL does with USO, BBM, and Ronald McDonald House. A special thanks to Grandma Mary for sewing the stocking and Anna for making the snowman for our stockings.
