PEACHES
We took a field trip to Millstone Creek Orchard to pick our own peaches. What a magnificent experience!!! We picked a bushel of peaches and bagged some up for driveway drop off to neighbors and friends around the neighborhood. Then we got to work on a peach crumble that was very memorable!

4th of July
We had a super awesome 4th of July. We spent part of the day at the Eno playing in the river, grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner, and enjoyed some driveway fireworks/sparklers.

Sticks & Stones
On tinkering Tuesday we collected and played with sticks and stones to create new and improved fairy houses!

Lobster
On writing Wednesday our key word was "Lobster". The kids simply have to incorporate the word into their story somehow. Max is writing a comical novel which he expands each week. Kate wrote a long fiction story. Alex and Anna enjoyed making their own lobster to go along with their short stories.
