Still Growing

Anna's 6-month well-baby visit stats: 13lb 15oz (12%), 24 3/4 in. long (16%).  The kids helped me do a mini photo session.

Too bad she is not a happier kid... :)

Adoring

Pedal Boats

I think Mimi & Pop Pop have been dreaming of the day they could take the kids on a pedal boat. Due to my slight phobia of large bodies of water and parenting paranoia I made a deal with Mimi and Pop Pop a while back that they could do it and tell me after the fact.  This weekend, they carefully disguised their plan to enjoy feeding the ducks from the pedal boats with an innocent trip to Bond Park...

All Geared Up!
 Max was steering the boat
 Kate was on pedal patrol

Needless to say, the kids had a blast, followed all the rules and returned safely.
Thank you Mimi and Pop Pop for sharing this experience with the kids - they will never forget it!

Good-Bye :(

Today our friends are off to PA for a new start.  We are going to miss Ms. Heidi and Anna. We have shared a lot of good times together in the past 1.5 years picking strawberries, doing crafts, going to parks, story time, movies, gymnastics, Hopper's House, neighborhood gatherings and the pool and most simply hanging out in the backyard. Here is a little stroll down memory lane...

We are going to miss you all very much!!!

Where is Goldbug?

Mimi introduced Max & Kate to her boys absolute favorite - Cars, Trucks, and Everything that Go by Richard Scarry!  I think we all love finding that little bug. :)

Dentist

Kate & Max had their first trip to the dentist.  Max was eager to get in the fun chair and enjoy the cartoon playing. Kate chatted with the hygenist like they were BFF - so funny.  Max was excited about the xray "like Daddy does."  Kate was so excited to have "polish" put on her teeth so they could be "shiny like her toes."  They both did so well and got fun treat bags and a prize from the treasure box.  A positive experience all around.

Spring Daze

One of our favorite parks hosted a Spring Daze Festival.  The kids were thrilled that we were going to the park.  Kate and Max packed a bag full of bread for the ducks - so cute! We ran into one of their preschool friends which was super cute because they were all equally excited to see each other.

Kate was excited about the playground especially the swings, a chocolate chip cookie from Le Farm Bakery, the kite she made and the free Birch tree.
Max could not wait to play in the sand pit, was eager to get a tattoo, told the fire chief all about his fire truck and loved the kettle corn.

Good Times!
