Singapore: week 2

 My parents have had a full week of seeing Claire and Adam off to school, visiting mosques, going on bike rides, celebrating the Chinese New Year, and exploring Phuket, Taiwan. 

MPMS Quarterly celebration

 7th grade quarterly celebration included hot chocolate bar, cookies and donuts for 560+ students! An awesome way to wrap up the semester and start a new one. In addition, Anna was honored to receive the SPOTS Student of the Month award! From her teacher,

Today we remember all the beautiful ways Abigail brightened our lives with all her love, passion and enthusiasm for everyone and everything!  Abigail lived a full life and touched many people in a multitude of ways.  I am so proud of my little sister and miss her every day. 💕

Hear Me Out

The kids decided they wanted to make a “hear me out” cake. In a nutshell, the kids secretly find a bunch of pics of things they LIKE and put them on a toothpick. Then one by one, they reveal their LIKES one at a time in the cake. It was hilarious fun!

Ethics Bowl

 The Parr Center for Ethics at UNC Chapel Hill hosts the High School Ethics Bowl every year for the State. This is Max’s second time participating. He has become even more involved in the club this year. They took two teams to the competition and both teams did phenomenally. It was a wonderful day rich with discussion and thoughtful insights.
