Tea with Daddio 2
Anna patiently waited for her special day with Daddio! Tea at The Umstead was ever special with their favorite waitress, Ms. Season. The savory favorite was a cinnamon raisin crostini with goat cheese & prosciutto and the sweet favorite was a raspberry key lime mousse. They always wrap up their day with a walk around the lake stopping to climb every tree!

Kate was invited to join her friend Lindsey for the weekend at their beach home! They enjoyed a gorgeous day on the water spotting dolphins and wild horses!
Carolina Fun
Alex and I took advantage of our day on UNCs campus. Between round and during breaks, Alex and I toured the campus and ate lunch at the Carolina Inn!

Ethics Bowl
Max and seven Green Level High School students participated in the annual Ethics Bowl at UNC- Chapel Hill. His team competed against 23 other teams from the state and came in second place! It was a fantastic day filled with incredible discussions and insightful thinking.
NCL Tea
We received our golden ticket to the Willy Wonka Themed NCL Tea! Kate’s class was charged with awards and gifts for certain mothers. Kate earned the president’s Service Award for 100+ hours of service.

Max’s Buddies
Max has a great group of buddies up the street - Ishan, Jason, and Rithik! Today, one of the moms scooped them all up spontaneously to celebrate Ishan’s birthday - they went to Dave and Busters and a park to play basketball. Seriously, a perfect day for this group of guys!
Pleasant Park
Pleasant Park is the new park in town!!! It has an epic playground, multiple field, green space, pickleball and basketball courts, and upcoming splash pad and trail.
Scrap Exchange
A very special place exists in Durham that Mimi introduced the kids to - The Scrap Exchange! It is a building full of treasures! Mimi took advantage of our teacher workday and took Alex and Anna to the Scrap Exchange today. After four hours, they returned beaming with a box full of treasures and only spent $3.25! ❤
