We to visit Fort Point State Park! We have a little piece of land overlooking the Penobscot Bay and a few hundred yards from our favorite picnic spot under the bell tower at Fort Point Lighthouse. We then comb the beach for boat making supplies and set to work on the most epic boat creations. Inevitably a seal or two or three come by for a visit and put in a show! It is truly a marvelous little gem!
