We had an opportunity to do a second batch of caterpillars. All five caterpillars turned into butterflies and we were thrilled to share our release party with our cousins. Kate read A Very Hungry Caterpillar while Alex did a puppet show. Cousins matched their puppets with Alex. All the kids celebrated every match. We used Q-tips dipped in sugar water to get each butterfly out of the habitat and share before it flew off. Kate made the most beautiful butterfly cookies EVER!
