Backyard Bonanza

Kate and Max's friends Addison and Alec came over for a backyard extravaganza.  We played Nerf Wars, worked on a project for NCL, had dinner by the fire pit and watched Doctor Strange - ALL outside!  Such a fun way to be together with friends.

Show and Tell

 In Alex's class, they each got a chance to have one final show and tell.  They could share 3 items. Alex chose a lego creation he and Max made together, a diamond art project that represented his favorite Marvel character and movies and a special memento from his Pop Pop.  He practiced for weeks and was so prepared!

Millie

 For our final kindergarten supply pick-up, the teacher and I decided we need to add a little something extra special!  Millie the Panther came to mind and I was VERY willing to fill the part. 😀 The kids' faces and excitement when they drove up was absolutely amazing.  Millie got so many hugs!!!

Starbucks

 Our first Starbucks since COVID!

Wilmington

 We spent a long weekend in Wilmington with my parents.  It was magnificent! The kids spent every free minute in the pool.  G. Mary and Papa D spoiled us with all our favorite meals and treats.  Peter and I went on a date! Aunt Abigail spent some time with us. It was just a wonderfully relaxing weekend together.

Emma's Birthday

We had such a blast celebrating cousin Emma's 12th birthday in our backyard!  We had a Marvel theme.  We started with lunch, then Nerf Wars, followed by cake and presents, then water works!  It was a perfect way to reunite these good buddies, play with Claire and meet Adam!
