Max and his best friend, Alec, went to camp as first-timers together and LOVED it! Max was ready for the autonomy. He was a bit surprised by the competition on Mondays and Fridays. He LOVED his activities - canoeing (including kayaking and paddleboards), dodgeball and fishing and all the time in the lake! He loved the food especially the giant chocolate chip cookies and the hotdog night. He was anxious about the dance and asking/being asked by a girl but then it all worked itself out and they kind of lined up and got paired up and it was no biggie - and he danced the night away! His counselors said he made friends easily and really enjoyed his time in the pool. He said he learned, "that if he does not get enough sleep, he is going to fall asleep during rest time!"
