Baseball Ready!

Max's first game of the season could not have been more awesome!!!  He had strong hits and awesome plays.  Aunty Lana was able to squeeze in a game and got loads of pics - THANK YOU!

Jack Smith Park

We were so very excited to learn that the Town of Cary not only opened a new park but it had a splash pad feature too!!! Grandma Mary and Papa D met us for a morning of splish-splash fun!

Front Porch Music

We took Lana and Charles to Fridays on the Front Porch in Chapel Hill!  OH. MY. GOODNESS the kids had a blast!!! So much dancing, twirling, and dipping!

Mystery Reader

Lana had an opportunity to surprised Kate and Max as mystery reader.   All the kids loved her!  Anna and I joined her and had lunch with the kids too!

Papa D's Retirement Party

We celebrated Papa D's retirement from 42 years at PepsiCo this weekend!  We all gathered at their retirement home in Wilmington, NC!  The weekend was filled with little (and big) surprises for Papa D. and LOTS of fun in the backyard for everyone!  It was a perfect weekend of relaxation and celebration with our whole family!!!
