Green Acres Field Trip

I got to join Kate and Max on their first kindergarten field trip to Green Acres Farm!  We had perfect fall weather and the kids were eager to run around! The teachers are SO organized, the kids were very prepared and well-behaved and the farm anticipated our every need. I am so happy I had the opportunity to enjoy this experience with the kids! Harvest Festival

I got to join Anna and her class for the annual Harvest Fest.  We went on a hayride and did a bunch of craft projects.  I love these days!

Corn Crib

We visited Ganyard Hill Farm this weekend! We have been visiting this farm since 2009 and it keeps getting bigger and more popular. The kids remember the corn crib and corn picking,  I love the pick-your-own pumpkin patch.  Highlights from our visit:

Taking Turns

Kate and Anna take turns holding Alex during show time in the evening. I think Alexander truly loves this time too, because he usually falls asleep!

Happy Birthday To Me!

My birthday DAY was spectacular.  Kate secretly got Anna up and ready for the day while Max was the look-out/Mommy distractor - so funny and cute - a great way to start the day!  The kids were then off to school and Alex and I had time for a walk, making googly eyes/smiles at each other and a pedicure.  We met Max and Kate for lunch, followed by a quick stop at Starbucks:) before picking up Anna. Anna and I worked on a little counting project and made plans for a second project later in the day with Kate & Max. Peter treated me to a week of meals from Foster's Market, so all I had to do was choose a meal and reheat.  AND I still have a date with Peter to look forward to! I LOVE my life!!!

My Little Ballerina

Anna has been asking to do ballet since last year.  I told her once she was potty trained she could start ballet.  She recently came to me and and said,"Mommy, I have been going pee-pee in the potty lots of times and no accidents.  Now I can do ballet?!?!"

Raptor Party

One of our friends had a raptor themed birthday party.  A man brought in a few raptors that had been recently rescued to share with the kids.  Kate was a little smitten with this new baby owl!
