Sewing Lessons with Mimi

Mimi (aka Mary Ellen or Peter's Mom) is an exceptionally talented and patient women! Case in point, she gave Kate and Max sewing lessons!  They both got so excited about it, that she let them design and sew a special creation of their own.

Disney World - The End

Our trip to Disney was absolutely perfect in every way!!!!  We did and saw everything we wanted to see and sprinkled in a few surprises along the way! We went to the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.  We played in the amazing pool at our hotel, saw fireworks and had brunch with characters. It is just an incredible feeling to experience Disney with and through your own children.

I left one final surprise for the day we headed home - a character brunch with Minnie, Goofy, and Donald Duck! Mickey Waffles - keep 'em comin' please!!! 

All the kids were so excited to spot and meet all the characters.  Anna gave them all a hug and kiss.  Max was so excited he did not know whether to hug or give a high five so it did it all simultaneously.  We had to peel Kate off each character. We had an absolute blast!

We visited animal kingdom for a half day after Peter finished with his lectures. We filled those five hours with two AMAZING shows, an incredible safari, a parade, one ride and an archeological dig!

Disney World - Mickey's Surprise

Mickey Mouse left Max a surprise the last day of our visit.  He found a special note attached to Star Wars figures.  He could hardly believe his eyes.  He tells everyone, and I mean everyone, the story of the special gift left by Mickey!!!

Disney World - Magic Kingdom Day 2

We filled the second day in the Magic Kingdom with even more rides, shows and a parade. We made good use of our time and hit everything we wanted at least once and had time to repeat a few favorites. Here are a few highlights:
