Breakthrough T1D

We had the MOST perfect day for a family hike and picnic at the Eno today in honor of Breakthrough T1D!

International Night

Mills Park Middle School held its annual International Night. As part of student council, Anna has been a busy bee preparing all the decorations and programs. The night was a huge success with performances, food trucks, giveaways, and presentations representing the entire globe! It was beyond impressive!

1870s Farm Camp

Anna, Emerson, and Leo enjoyed the day out of school at the 1870s Farm Camp in Chapel Hill. They had a BLAST playing with the animals, playing games, and simply being outside!

Halloween Extravaganza

Halloween is truly such a blast! I love how the kids have really adapted the holiday to make it their own!

Care Bear, Joe Biden, Roman Soldier, Daphne

Max and friends had a fun President Biden and secret service theme, dinner, cruising around Cary Park and candy exchange!

Joe Biden & Secret Service

Kate and Eli had their special night together - pizza, roaming Cary Park, and watching a movie!

Brittney Spears & Daphne

Anna and friends came up with a Care Bear theme and explored Amberly, followed by games and candy exchange.

Care Bears

Alex met up with friends at Frontgate for some serious sword fighting while they ate their way through the streets!

Alex’s Learning Experience

Woot! Deepika and I had a super fun time sorting out a fun afternoon for Ms Howald’s fall Learning Experience. We incorporated science and math standards in addition to hitting on key fall cultural experiences. We had five stations including: windmills, lanterns, candy corn mad libs, bingo, harvest snack, and costume caper brain teaser! The kids and adults had so much fun together!
