Dance Recital

Kate and Anna had their dance recital today!  It was  a huge success for everyone involved.  We are so proud of you both!
Kate danced to Daisy Bell
Anna danced to Bunny Rabbit Blues
A special thanks to our guests from near and far that made the day even more special!

Fishing Camp

Kate and Max were invited to participate in a 1-day fishing camp at Harris Lake the first day of summer!  Holy mole, they had such a blast! They learned about the surrounding ecosystem, did crafts, hiked, skimmed for creatures in the big pond, learned to cast, bait and reel in their own fish! An amazing experience!!!

Maniac Marathon

Kate and Max decided to participate in the Maniac Marathon at their school again this year.  The goal of the program is to get kids (and their families) outside and moving! So, between walking to school, touring DC and hiking in the mountains the kids accrued 25 miles and finished their final 1.2 miles today with the whole school cheering them on!  It was an exciting mile and we are so proud of our little marathoners!

Kranz Kids Triathlon

As we transition from spring to summer sports there is a little overlap from time to time.  Today we fit in swim team time trials, a baseball game and a 3-mile bike ride (littles and I stroll) before lunch!!! Poor Peter missed all the fun due to work.  Anna and Alexander were super stars! They made fun wherever they were - having a picnic breakfast pool-side, playing with inchworms and collecting treasures!

Kate's Poetry Cafe

Today was Kate's Poetry Cafe! The kids put together a poetry booklet with a Shape, Diamante, Haiku, Acrostic and Cinquain poem.  All but one of her poems were about bunnies! Cute Kate was very excited to share her shape poem "Trains".  Kate presented her poem with confidence and poise - we are so proud of you KK!
