Camp Mimi Pop-Pop
The most anticipated weekend of the season was a positively wonderful weekend for everyone! The kids enjoyed a Polar Express exhibit at the Greensboro Museum, snow globe making, movie night, slumber party, lots of play time with Mimi and Pop Pop and the grande finale was seeing The Nutcracker! Peter, Alex and I enjoyed a luxurious night at the O'Henry and my sister babysat Alexander so Peter and I could go on a date! Memories to last a lifetime - thank you Mimi and Pop Pop!!!

Elfie
Elfie arrived this week! The kids have been SO excited (lots of screaming!) about his arrival and fun hiding spots. Well, he seemed to be "tired" the other day, so the kids got him a sleeping bag and put it near him in case he woke up while they were at school. Then I got the kids excited about making a cozy, warm fire near his sleeping bag. Then the kids thought he might want to roast marshmallows. OMG, we had the best time creating this scene just in case!

Christmas Kick-Off
One of the things we did over the Thanksgiving break was to kick-off the holiday season with a horse drawn sleigh ride! The kids went nuts when they saw the horse! Such a simple and fun way to start the holiday magic!
SuperStar Swimmer
Kate moved up a level in swimming - Hooray!!! Max was eager to tell her all the rules of level five.

Anna's 3 Year Well Child Visit
We held off on Anna's 3-year appointment to coincide with Alexander's four month visit (stats on his post). Anna did awesome - answered all the questions, asked a few of her own and is growing on her own curve (3ft. - 22% and 28lb - 25%.).
We celebrated with a quick visit with Santa! All she asked for was a Christmas tree!
Alex - Four Months
This has been the month of finding our voice and practicing that precious smile! Alexander discovered his hands and loves to play and chew on them. He is reaching, swatting, kicking and grabbing toys and starting to transfer from one hand to the next. He is learning to maneuver his little self in circles on the play mat and down the length of the crib. He likes playing little games like peek-a-boo and pat-a-cake especially with the girls. He is sleeping through the night and has started carving out a good daytime nap schedule with two long naps and two short naps. He is generous with giving out kisses which gets the kids so excited! I can say, without a doubt, this little boy is well loved and he knows it!
Stats:
Weight - 13.2lb (9%)
Length - 25.4in. (61%)
