Traingle Heart Walk

We joined a few NCL friends to put in our miles for the virtual Triangle Heart Walk 2021 put on by the American Heart Association. A fantastic way to spend our morning!

Brown Bag Ministry

 Kate and I were super proud of ourselves for making 100 brown bag lunches before Alex's baseball game this morning! Stellar morning with a few of our 2027 classmates!

Umstead

 While Kate was at volleyball, the rest of us enjoyed Umstead State park.  There are a gazillion trails, so we picked a direction and had a blast exploring.

 Kate is enjoying her volleyball clinics and learning a lot about technique and the game.

Max is in full swing with Junior Tennis Team.  We are preparing and looking forward to some good matches this season!

NCL Ticktocker Meeting

Kate and I had our second NCL Ticktocker meeting.  I was absolutely blown away.  We had 100% attendance, everyone was prepared, and everyone participated.  We were so productive planning out our year.

Baseball

We had a gorgeous Saturday afternoon for baseball this weekend.  Alex had a great game and was thrilled to have his family and Grandparents cheering him on!

Brown Bag Ministry

Kate and I worked with friends at Brown Bag Ministry this weekend to prepare a hot meal for 200 people.   We worked with Chef Josephine to make baked chicken, steamed broccoli, roasted potatoes and berry cobbler.  It was an incredible experience!!!

JDRF One Walk: Anna's Army

Since 2017, our family has been participating in the JDRF One Walk.  Each year holds special memories of the ways we have come together for this cause. This year, we will be racking up miles the next two months in honor of Pop Pop, who did our first walk with us in 2017.

Eno

We thought we were doing our last trip to the Eno for the year but when we arrived it was closed because there were too many people!!!  So, we found another entrance and hiked to the Rock Quarry - very cool site!  We picnicked, played in the Eno, and got a very awesome hike - BONUS Adventure!
