Buckwheat Farm opened this week for pick your own strawberries!

Butterflies

 Our caterpillars flew through the life cycle in two weeks!  They ate, got super huge, hung in a "J" shaped, formed their chrysalis, and popped out as beautiful butterflies!  We learned that their favorite food was banana slices!

Sweet Surprise

 Kate, Max, Anna, and Alex proudly surprised Peter and I with a very special anniversary dinner!  With the help of Grandma Mary and Paper D over the weekend, they had prepared everything. Alex was in charge of our pre-dinner show.  Max was the host and sommelier.  Kate and Anna prepared the meal and set the table with fresh flowers in a homemade vase. Everything was just perfect and so thoughtful! Our hearts are so happy!

Anniversary - 18 Years!

Peter and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary by going out to dinner (for the first time since COVID) to our favorite little French restaurant - Vin Rouge!  It was a little slice of heaven reminiscing over the years, imaging where our journey will take us in 18 more years all while nibbling cheese, sipping bubbles, savoring moules-frites and chocolate mouse and enjoying the night's fresh air.

Special Weekend

Camp Condo was a huge success. Grandma Mary and Papa D invited the kids over to the condo for the weekend.  They had a blast doing projects, having movie night, eating lots of yummy things, exploring the nearby lake and just spending time with their wonderful grandparents. Anna said, "I am just so happy here!" 😊

Earth Day

Alex's class had a super awesome Earth Day learning experience!  They had a scavenger hunt, BINGO Game, Eye Spy game, and made their own pudding dirt cups.  Alex was over the moon excited!

After all the kids finished their work for the day, we did Earth Day drive-bys.  The girls made the coolest Earth cookies and we attached little seed paper cards. It was such a wonderful day making hearts happy.

Key To The Vineyard

We had the best afternoon at Old Mill Farm.  We had the entire farm to ourselves!  We snuggled baby goats, got chased by mommy goats, collected fresh eggs, fed the goats & bunnies, freaked out the Alpaca and sheep, and EVERYONE caught at least one fish! Just the best!
