Easter Eggs

We were looking for a new way to dye Easter eggs this year that left us with brighter colors!  We branched out and used the rice shaker method.  I am here to tell you this is easy, mess free, and you get good results no matter what - kid tested, Mom approved!

Arboretum Field Trip

 JC Raulston Arboretum is part of NC State University.  They just reopened to the public last week on a very limited schedule. We successfully wrapped up our asynchronous day a little early so we could take advantage of the gorgeous whether. We were in awe at all the blooming taking place.  Kudos to the staff and volunteers for keeping this little gem in such good shape this past year!

Claire's Virtual Party: My Little Pony

 We celebrated Claire's 4th birthday virtually!  Cousin Emma did an amazing job of facilitating the games and story time.  Liz organized the cutest treat bags for everyone. Emma's My Little Pony Cake was AMAZE BALLS! Claire was SO. SUPER. EXCITED!!!  Happy Birthday Sweet Claire Bear!

We went to our favorite stomping grounds along the Eno River in search of sign of Spring!
