Baseball Champs

Unknown to the boys, we went into our last game ranked #1 in the city!  We played #2 and WON! So the boys finished their season as Cary City Champs! It was a fantastic season filled with some incredible plays, exciting games, aggressive stealing, passionate coach and positive learning experiences!  I am so excited about this league and excited to see what the future holds each of the players on this team!

Pumpkins and More

Truly the best part of the weekend was all the extra cousin time.  Claire and Emma spent the whole weekend with us and the kids played every spare minute. They can entertain themselves for hours and are all up for anything! Between the JDRF walk, Baseball, and Birthday we prepared for Halloween by carving pumpkins and making lanterns!

Anna's Birthday Party

Anna was determined to have her birthday party at Go Ape this year.  It is a super awesome ropes course and ziplines in the middle of Blue Jay County Park in Raleigh.  The kids (and adults) climbed their little hearts out and zipped through the trees completely carefree! We topped off the day with cake (made and designed by Kate) and a crafts using nature. It was a perfect way to celebrate our little tree climber!

JDRF Walk

This weekend we participated in the JDRF walk.  Thank you to all of our supporters, we raised over $700 for the cause!  Anna and Peter entered the t-shirt contest won 3rd place!  We absolutely loved having our family and friends with us all morning!!!
