Spring break started at the bus stop this afternoon and turned into a warm blissful afternoon outside!

Dying Eggs

This year the kids experimented with dying plastic eggs and adding "glimmer"!  The "glimmering" process was super easy and took the egg from matte to glossy in seconds.  Alex and I got all the supplies out and the kids took over from there...

Farewell Benjamin

We had an amazing time with Benjamin.  We all learned a lot about caring for a bunny and what made Benjamin especially happy.  He even got to the point where he would run and jump and do flips in the air, crawl on top of the kids, nudge us for petting and kissed us on the cheek (seriously).  We got the hang of cleaning the cage and feeding him treats.  Half way through the week, we moved him up to the girls room and the girls slept on the floor next to him each night.  They all had specific things they wanted me to share about Benjamin when I brought him back to Farmer Mary.

Alex: Tell Farmer Mary, we love Benjamin SO much! Sometimes, he sniffs your booty.
Kate:  He is very sweet once he has had time to get to know you. When he is happy, his ears are up, runs really fast, twists in the air, and kisses your face!  When he is nervous his ears are down and he thumps his foot.
Max:   Benjamin loves kale, dandelion greens and the hay.
Anna:  Benjamin is cute and sweet if you just get to know him. He really likes to hop around and explore.

Claire's 1st Birthday

Liz outdid herself with a butterfly themed birthday for Claire!  We had a wonderful time at their home - kids playing upstairs, adults passing Claire around, snacks and birthday cake for all and a super cute butterfly craft!  Love all the details Liz put into the party - cute and sweat like the birthday girl!
