Peter gets the super dad award for taking the kids to Belfast, Maine on his own AND taking pictures! Of course the kids had fun, Mimi & Pop Pop + Maine Adventures = TONS of FUN! They visited an Alpaca farm, went beach combing for sea glass and other treasures, had campfires, visited the campgrounds, ate lobster, did crafts, and caught crabs!

New Zealand: Photo Shoot in Martinborough

New Zealand: Martinborough

Lana and Charles surprised me  with a getaway to Martinborough! We headed there for lunch Poppy's, followed by a wine tasting at Cambridge Road, then dinner at Tirohana.  Lana and I got up early with Leo and walked all around the cute little town and surrounding vineyards, then met up with Charles for Brunch at Cafe Medici!  The food, wine, and views were spectacular!

New Zealand: WOW

Lana surprised me with a girls' night out!  We went to dinner at Charley Noble and then we saw the show WOW.  WOW comes once a year to Wellington.  It is where fashion and art come together in a theatrical runway show! We had the most spectacular time!

New Zealand: Hikes

Every morning, Lana, Leo and I took a walk around the harbors. Then we picked a different direction and area to explore the rest of the day!  This is my favorite way to explore any place - by foot! In addition to some AMAZING food (think farm to table everywhere) and shopping there were some incredible VIEWS! Here are some of the highlights!

New Zealand

My trip to New Zealand was more than any words can ever describe.  My nephew, Leo, is so sweet and snuggly.  Lana and Charles are the most generous hosts EVER. New Zealand is absolutely beautiful and full of surprises.  I loved EVERY. SINGLE. MINUTE of this trip!

Thank you Lana and Charles for making this such an easy and memorable trip for me. 

You both went above and beyond and I will treasure this week forever!

Let the Adventures Begin

Peter and the kids are headed to Maine to visit Mimi and Pop Pop!  I am leaving for New Zealand to visit Lana, Charles, and my newest nephew, Leo!!!!!!
